A Note on Ground Beef

I recommend using very low fat ground beef for most recipes which include it in a sauce, such as the pasta sauce recipe shown below.  It'll add the right amount of flavor without boosting the saturated fat content in your recipe.  If, however, you're making hamburgers, or meatloaf, or something like that, I recommend a slightly higher far content.  I tend to use Costco's ground beef which has a fat content around 12%.  This gives you a more moist and juicy entree.
