Homemade pizza on two ingredient dough
Not a bad thing to make! I used pizza margherita toppings, but you can really use whatever you like. I got the recipe from my friend Niki, who got it from a Weight Watchers website.
PIZZA DOUGH
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup low fat or fat free Greek yogurt
Mix ingredients together with a fork, then turn onto a floured work surface. Knead briefly, then roll out. Press into a cast iron skillet, and bake in a 400f oven for 20 minutes.
Take out of the oven and top with pizza sauce (I just used Bertolli's), shredded mozzarella, slices of tomato, slices of fresh mozzarella, and Turkey pepperoni (just because). Bake another 15 minutes, then add fresh basil leaves. Bake 5 minutes more. Serves 3-4.
Variation: bbq chicken pizza
Instead of the above, top with bbq sauce (recipe follows), chicken breast meat, and thinly sliced red onion.
BBQ SAUCE
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup yellow mustard
1/2 cup honey
Tabasco or Sriracha to taste
Pinch hot red pepper flakes
Pinch garlic powder
Mix together and use instead of pizza sauce. Then figure out some other things to use it on.
